You think there weren't elite sickos back then like there are now. They has massive inflation between the 1st and 2nd world war, I read a wheel barrow of cash just to buy a loaf of bread. Prostitution went way up and not just adults. The elites that were into weird sexual perversions were eating it up. Patton seemed to think later in life we fought the wrong enemy.
