She must be using voice to text on a Samsung phone. Sara, go into settings and turn off one of the two voice to text engines and your double word problem will cease.

Pardon me for taking your advice, but where in the hell do I find this in settings ?My phone duplicates sentences all the time and it drives me crazy!

Settings > General Management > Keyboard list and default. This is for the Samsung S21 Ultra, at least that's what was causing the problem on this model.
