She should have grabbed that box of masks and read the warning label on that box clearly for all to hear:

"This product is not a respirator and will not provide any protection against Covid-19 (coronavirus) or other viruses or contaminants."

Then ask if anyone else there wants to see the warning message on the box... before handing it back to the nurse. :>)

That should end the argument about wearing their mask.
