Had a youngish (27) black gentleman come to my home (Texas) today for some plumbing-related work. No mask, which is still rare for service companies coming to your home still. I offered to shake his hand and that awkward moment of not knowing how the other person felt about that stuff got us to talking.
He started dropping beautiful bombs such as "Masks don't do anything. The holes in the material are massively larger than the virus."... and "There is more risk from bacteria"... and "I'm not into this whole fear-mongering".
He talked about this Aunt that got the vax (I hate that term as it's provably NOT a vax) and had severe allergic reactions... taking 4 different kinds of allergy meds to try to feel better.
In short, he was based! I love meeting people like this... especially when you don't expect it.
I had an appointment with a client yesterday, and I always have a mask ready when I enter someone’s home. He told me I sit t have to wear it unless “ I believed in that stuff.” Has a great time talking trash about libs and vaccines.
