I use Ivermectin as a prophylactic. Once a month for 4-5 days. Treat my dog, too! Paste from Tractor Supply. Can't beat the price!

I guess if it is a true emergency and there is no access to the human pill form of Ivermectin the paste might be an acceptable option but please, let's not start off by advising people buy and use products designed for animals!

Myfreedoctor.com has a coalition of volunteer doctors who will prescribe Ivermectin.
