I checked out "Circus" title track and video. It didn't immediately jump out at me in a comms type way, but it was more of the same weird hyper-sexualized showy "filth" that most Pop music videos are (no offense!). Perhaps the situation is something that's directly related to her handled experience, but unfortunately it didn't strike me as "WTF, this music video is about X and Y!".
