What a F@#$%ing disgrace, what a F@#$%ing waste of tax payer dollars. Pay teachers to stay home, work remotely and then give them a "bonus" for not wanting to return to the classroom. Where is the work ethic today, replaced by wokism? We are at the abyss of socialism and I pray we can climb our way out.
Promises made, promises kept.
This entire thing (Covid) is a political maneuver to secure power for big tech, teachers unions, big pharma and government.
My district had such an excess of money this year from all the government covid funding that we all got a 10% raise.
IMO - If teachers get a bonus: First, it should be community based - If the district thinks their teachers suck... they probably do. Then it should be based on how many days they had students in the room. Finally, it should also be some multiple on how much they claimed they put back into teaching out of their own pockets.
Next step: Police officers need a bonus first.
