Given that women are far bigger consumers when it comes to almost all goods which require energy, materials and fuel to manufacture and ship, it's questionable that this is outweighed by car mpg and eating habits.
HOWEVER, regardless of which sex has a larger footprint, who cares?! The sexes are not perfectly equal and therefore will have different carbon footprints as well. The left is so obsessed with everything being equal, when in reality, the genders, and even more importantly, individuals, vary greatly in all aspects!
