Reddit started yesterday and users said it was to fight shared IP like VPNs. Fuck that. Yesterday and today.
Walmart kept ke verifying by pressing and holding a button every time is earched something or tried to log in. Today
Taco bell kept returning with errors and not letting me finalize my purchaese today.
This is frustrating as all hell and I'm not turning off my VPN. Period.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Is that really so? I did some digging a while back and was satisfied enough with Express VPN and could also support Bongino's show by using his code.
An ex of mine was a nasty person and had connections with a lot of tech savvy meth-abusing trolls that liked to make life hell for a lot of people and wanted to take no chances.
Welp, looks like when my term expires, I am out.
It literally just takes the suggestion of some random person on the internet for you to make life choices you claim are about keeping you safe from insane meth heads?
I'm aware of that possibility but on the other it really cuts down on the list of "now who could have stolen my info this time?"
VPNs and a properly tuned browser are good for low hanging fruit. Honey pot sites that capture IPs and data. But you’re not stopping a nation state or mega corporation from finding out who you are if they want to. It’s like locking your door at night. A regular lock can be busted by most criminals. An advanced locking or door bar system will stop nearly any crook. But the local PD don’t care about any of that shit.
