I doubt it. Gut worms are usually roundworms, tapeworms, and pinworms. There are a lot of other parasites besides these that can affect many other organs in ones body. Fortunately good hygiene and sanitation in our country make them rare. These parasites can be brought up by the massive illegal immigration coming to our country from not only south america, but all over the world that come across our southern border and are transported throughout the country. I took a pre-med parasitology class in college, and I make sure my meat is cooked well, and I don't eat raw fish.
