Rhetorical question: what would happen to you, an individual, if the government delivered you a subpoena for something and you just sat on it? Would those government types just shrug their shoulders and move on? Or would they bring the weight of the government down on you with fines and imprisonment?

Our "leaders" are accountable to the same laws that they hold over us. It's been a core idea of Western civilization since the Magna Carta. If they are allowed to get away with this, it will be an injustice of the worst kind.
