I agree, there is no way to "rehabilitate".

I find the prospect of prosecuting those with only tendencies but zero victims. So, if data existed that something sick like this MIGHT keep SOME from creating victims, it beats the potential alternative resolutions to the issue.

Current data shows that these dolls will not stop them and only encourage them, though. However, I will say that with much of the data you are forced to extrapolate.
