Guess I better add more rice, beans, etc for long term storage so I can buy a lot more in bulk. It’s only a matter of time. Sooner rather than later.

Get that pressure canner out.
American Standard is the Cadillac of pressure canners. It's cast aluminum and doesn't require a gasket.
Now if I could just find some jars and lids. Warning. The Ball lids sold on Amazon are fake. It says Ball on the box, but not on the lids, which appear to be stamped out of thin metal with the "enamel" just a thin layer of white paint.
Ball and Kerr are made by the same company, which is in Canada.
I have the Presto, couldnt get American Standard for a long time so got another Presto.
I will not order lids on line anymore. Always a problem. Not just thin but often bent edges.
