The photo was taken on 5 October 2020 after President Trump returned to the White House from Walter Reed Medical Center after quarantine and treatment for Corona Virus. Here are two videos showing the event. What is important to understand is that President Trump 'initiates' the salutes he renders Marine 1 as it departs.
