I'm not familiar with the area, but mapping it shows 7.9 miles and a 15 min drive... I'd say that's pretty close for a helicopter that can travel 200+mph.

WeHo and Valley Village would not be considered close by anyone who lives in/or knows anything about, Los Angeles. the misspeak made me suspicious that he was making it up, as I'm in the valley and have heard no increase in military aircraft. But he clarified.
I made a mistake while typing, I meant to say in Valley Village itself. The reason why I said that because I was thinking of the region until I realized my typo later on.
got it - just wasn't sure if you were making it up based on that. I'm in the valley but closer to Burbank and haven't heard much, but am further to the northeast side of things.
But yeah it's in the region of San Fernando Valley where I keep hearing the aircraft flyover mainly in the day and sometimes at night, I don't why I even said that. Sorry for the mishap.
