Tropical Storm In-fa isn't going to come anywhere near the Three Gorges Dam area. Three Gorges is in Hubei, China and is about 400 miles West of where the heavy rains from In-fa will be felt. The tropical storm will mainly affect the East coastal region of China between Wenzhou and Shanghai.

Three Gorges Dam may face trouble in the future... but NOT from this tropical storm.

there has been speculation to that effect. at least, the Chinese authorities are going to have a hard time preventing more floods.

Are you sure this is live? I have seen some posts on here that cast doubt that any live stream of this dam is not as it seems.

Looks "mostly peaceful" to me. What would REALLY be interesting would be a satellite overhead view showing its deformation and water being held back and/or released.
