A lot of people noticed... they even investigated and documented it.

But then it got suppressed.

That was easier to do back in the day.

Now, not so much.

Notice, June 18 (1954) hearing canceled due to the death of Representative Farrington of Hawaii. (It's unclear whether or not the death was related to the Reese Hearing on Tax Exempt Foundations. One would think not except for the statement made by Chairman Reese when he notified the committee of the postponement. pdf p29).
