Make no mistake, He will turn away those He does not know at the end. You cannot save Him for a rainy day or put Him off until it's "convenient". That is not how that works.

Do you think Saul/Paul was too far gone? The man who persecuted and killed Christians and ENJOYED it? The man who people said "he's too far gone"?
God not only had a wonderful plan for Paul and Paul accomplished great things, but Paul was also now had the ability to reach those who were just like him, who had done the things that he had done. It was because of the life he left, that he was able to do far greater things once he changed how his life was going. But he had to choose.
These people are so far beyond being open to Jesus it's not even calculable
