I like your thinking. On one of the protests this year, however, they deliberately redirected the march past the main BBC offices and flooded social media with ‘now will you report?’ messages. Of course the BBC didn’t, except for lip service reporting of ‘anti-vax’ protests with a ‘few thousand disgruntled QAnon far right attendees’ etc. Perhaps we all need to go the way of past Eastern European peaceful revolutions - doorstep our parliaments, congresses, presidential residences and all such organs of the state. Start with every Saturday at the same time (1pm sounds good) in increasingly growing numbers, then keep adding days if we are ignored and don’t stop even if it ends up 7 days a week (we’re already past the point of no return if we are mass protesting daily anyway). And if all else fails, there’s always how the Romanians dealt with Ceaucescu.
