Can we get a list of MUST DOs for when the shit hits the fan and we will be having to survive to get through it? For example, Food shortages, the black out, out of control crime, conflict, war etc.?

Amazon has the Kindle Fire 7" on sale dirt cheap occasionally. I bought some for $29.99 around Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. With a 128 GB microSD card, you can store many thousands of books. I have an Altoids tin with more cards loaded with stuff that I can carry in my pocket. So I can carry terabytes with me. The Fire can be charged with a very small solar panel, so it's good as a bugout item.

You can also download entire websites (or parts of them) with HTTrack: https://www.httrack.com/page/2/ There is a version for Android as well as the standard Windows and Linux version.
