You can have a romantic partner and sexual intimacy without lust or orgasming, is what I am proposing. Lust is the root of all suffering. I am saying that there is something sacred about sexual energy that shouldn't be wasted because it can be transformed - harnessed. It is not just a physical act, but a spiritual one and as you can feel a short moment of physical bliss (orgasm), that same energy when conserved, brings about spiritual bliss.
There is a difference between love lust and sex.
You clearly conflate sex with lust.
Lust is most certainly not the root of all evil. That is ridiculous.
The only root to evil is fear+disconnection from God >period<.
Everything that leads down the road to darkness is rooted in fear, but it is the turning from God(which is love) which is where they evil takes hold.
I agree that sex is a spiritual act or it is supposed to be. Still, different than reproduction purposes.
YOU stated that sex=making children only.
Yes, you can have a romantic non-sexual partner. Once again I ask- should a married couple who can no longer bear children not have sex? Should they spend a life with someone they wanted to share their whole self with without physical intimacy because they are "useless non-breeders" essentially?
Having an orgasim is momentary....but you say that as if that in and of itself makes it sinful. So....kissing is sinful, holding hands, a hug?....
Don't get it twisted.
Just because they dark has CORRUPTED something sacred that doesn't mean that something sacred is the thing that is sinful.
Like everything, we are bid to honor God and ourselves (as the image of God) and conduct ourselves accordingly. Forcing someone to have sex with you to make a baby is more sinful than having sex with your partner that your love knowing you are not going to get pregnant. But in your thinking the former is more desirable than the later because your emphasis is on (as you put it so crudely) "cumming."
God as not anti sex or anti intimacy.
The Song of Solomon is literally a biblical romance novel.
Please answer.
-old couple, no sex?
-barren people, no sex?
-physical disabilities, no sex?
