AMENDMENT XXVIII (proposed)
The right of citizens of the United States shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of any medical condition. Citizens of the United States and their dependents shall not be given any medicine without their express permission.
(1st edit to include definition of medicine) Medicine includes diagnostics and anything related to the prevention and treatment of injury or disease.
(2nd edit to include dependents)
The point is well taken - the principles of the Nuremberg Code need to be incorporated into the law, which currently they are not.
Elected officials should be held to much higher standards too.
Minimum life in prison for corruption of constitution, depending on the severity capital punishment.
Rights shall not be infringed means rights shall not be infringed, no ifs or buts.
Define medicine. Or they’ll use that loophole
Medicine includes diagnostics and anything related to the prevention and treatment of injury or disease.
True. Any suggestions? Word smithing is hard.
maybe replace 'medicine' with 'substance'
Hard to envision how evil they might be. Or, how to find a loop hole, as you say. Is flouride in the water medicine? Is adding gas (or other chemicals to the air) medicine? Do we need to enumerate the methods? (oral, injection, suppository, ointment, inhalation, etc.)
Amendments should further limit the Fed gov.
Amendments are not to enumerate positively the rights of the people, as they are reserves in no X.
Not every amendment is beneficial. Compare amendments 14 etc to 1-13.
Quality is a bitch.
Yes, it is hard to enumerate overall rights when you really start thinking about it.
I agree with all of your points.
But, it seems like they are using the Amendments as a checklist of rights to infringe.
