I mean, that's the whole point with isolation, isn't it? To tell the difference between something new and something not new, yes?

Any chance I could get a link on what the CDC said about the PCR testing...couldn't really find anything on it

So I found the CDC announcement in the meantime. They are saying they are recalling the test but don't say why. They are encouraging labs to do tests that can differentiate between flu and covid also. Unless encouraging someone is an admission of guilt I dont see it. The tests are probably inaccurate but I dont really see them admitting it.
My shill meter still works pretty well, just FYI.
If they are encouraging the use of something else that CAN tell the difference between the flu and covid, then what does that imply about the current test?
They never said CAN though. It could be worded as also though. As in they are stopping this test for a new for efficient and quicker tests that have been developed in the meantime. At least thats how some articles are phrasing it. Im saying the tests probably didnt work sometimes because how does the flu disappear with covid cases rising. Its just that the word play the CDC uses doesn't really outright admit the tests failed and personally thats what I wanted to see
