I mean, that's the whole point with isolation, isn't it? To tell the difference between something new and something not new, yes?

My shill meter still works pretty well, just FYI.
If they are encouraging the use of something else that CAN tell the difference between the flu and covid, then what does that imply about the current test?
They never said CAN though. It could be worded as also though. As in they are stopping this test for a new for efficient and quicker tests that have been developed in the meantime. At least thats how some articles are phrasing it. Im saying the tests probably didnt work sometimes because how does the flu disappear with covid cases rising. Its just that the word play the CDC uses doesn't really outright admit the tests failed and personally thats what I wanted to see
Why do you keep saying the test was "probably" inaccurate?
Because I dont know how often it failed or how often it was accurate. Im just going on the fact that the flu disappeared
The flu disappeared The creator of the test said it shouldn't be used to diagnose infections The cycle rate was ridiculously high to give only false positives Now they're tacitly admitting the test couldn't differentiate between the flu and covid
I mean, gosh, how much more does one need?
