He's a poser, and if they're releasing this personal info on him, it's a means to an end for them. What the story actually is on him, who he works for and why? Maybe we'll find out at some point and maybe not...and maybe he'll slip out of the public eye until they can use his story to fit another agenda.

Right now he seems to make a decent sacrificial lamb.
