People are saying they wont be armed and others say they dont have the right to make arrests of citizens of australia so why are they there? Intimidation is my guess. Thoughts or facts to support or expose this information/story

Riot, shots fired... Australians can't own guns in the first place and even if we can, we aren't allowed to open or conceal carry and its not rioting it is protesting as well as the fact they are patrolling the streets not just there for the protests.
