We had an alert in eastern NC one day last week. It was supposed to have been the smoke from Canadian forest fires. I saw a satellite photo that showed it streaming across the whole US, especially northern states.
We got the same in Idaho. Not quite so thick in my area but been smokey overcast for the better part of the last 2 weeks. Probably flying around starting fires again. Blocking off the sunlight, I wonder what that does to people getting vitamin D from the sun?
don't take it too hard. I was just playing with you, As far as what I was seeing it looked like a light fog. But also take into consideration that I am in the country surrounded by farmland and a lake. So what might not be too noticeable between houses in a city is exaggerated 100 fold.
It's awful. Worst day we've had so far is today

here in NY it was really quite bad on Sunday.
Northern MN is bad. Can't go out for more than a few minutes and start getting a headache. Looks like there are worse areas in central MN.
The visibility is awful and i can smell smoke even in my workplace.
Where is it coming from?
apparently there are wild fires in Canada. Or at least that's what we are being told.
Up in mountains in East TN, always a clear beautiful view, so smoky looking today couldn’t see the normal mountains
Right! Went from sunshine to this eerie smoke in minutes
Northern Indiana has had bad air quality warnings for the last few days.
Hardly ever happens.
It was terrible today in MN
All the rest of us must be making it up then. It's all a conspiracy against you.
