My wife thinks I'm nuts. My PHD friend told me not to get my news from memes. Other friends have labeled me a Conspiracy Theorist. None of them will talk to me about this stuff anymore.
However, they all agree I'm the smartest person they have met. If I want to know how something works I research it. Easy to learn if you try.
I'm going to enjoy their anxiety when the Great Awaking happens. I'm going to tell them "It get tiring being the smartest person in the room." Then I'm not going to answer any of their questions.
It is very bizarre that people can recognize you as very intelligent and yet still believe that you don't know how to filter and process information about world events. Sometimes on reddit I've seen discussion posts like "What's the craziest thing that someone you know believes?" and a TON of the comments are things like, "my brother-in-law is the smartest guy I know, but he fell into a rabbit hole and now he believes we never went to the moon!" And all kinds of other stuff that "very smart" people fall into believing like 9/11 conspiracies.
I love telling them that they brainwashed the look on their faces is great. So I don't get attacked I quickly follow it up with "I was brainwashed too!"
The PHD is a psychologist and thinks that CRT is a great thing. They are so blind they can't even see evil in things they research.
I'd like to rub it in their faces. They have treated me badly and shouted me down. I doubt I will though. I'm nicer than that.
I have had to tell people to stop believe pre digested pablum spoon fed to them by mindless paid for bobble heads. Or sound bytes that are edited for the gullible masses.

I will teach them how to do proper research.

One of these "friends" told me she doesn't read the article she just reads the headlines.
I told her, "Well then you just admitted that I don't need to pay head to your objections."
She is ok with handguns but "No one should have an AR-15."
Precious few people become Phd's without getting indoctrinated into the hivemind.
It's sad that people aren't taught to think for themselves.
I can see how Nazi Germany happened when I talk to them in a group. They feed off of each other.
This whole "Well that's not my reality" needs to stop! There is only one truth.
My family believed the nurses who said to vax over my wife an actual.medical scientist who told the don't.
