Hey everyone,
I just wanted to drop some critical information that I just recently put together myself.
Bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple, could be a very effective therapeutic for treating both coronavirus and potentially some of the damage caused by vaccines as well.
Why is bromelain important? It's an enzyme that helps you digest proteins. The most important fact about this is that it digests specifically the proteins that are responsible for inflammatory responses caused by your immune system.
Asthmatics take bromelain supplements sometimes because it helps keep their airways from swelling up. I do this, myself to treat my asthma symptoms and it makes a massive difference in my quality of life, personally. The reason why it eases symptoms in asthmatics is because we naturally have more of the immune cells in our lungs which produce those inflammatory proteins.
Cytokine storm, a potential complication caused by either the virus on its own in some cases, or as a potential hazard related to antibody dependent enhancement, can also be treated with bromelain because it clears out the proteins from the system which cause the inflammation.
It's also sold over the counter.
I have already identified two studies which support my hypothesis: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32995771/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33084621/
Another promising study added bromelain into a mix with zinc supplements, quercetin supplements (an over the counter replacement hydorychloroquine), and vitamin C. This one is still ongoing. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04468139
Quercetin deserves a thread all of its own, because it performs the same function as hydroxychloroquine as an ionophore that helps transport zinc ions into the cell.
Wow. At home we eat pineapple every day as part of our frozen berry smoothie. Good to know we're on the right track.
Yes. I find that my asthma never bothers me at all when I eat some pineapple chunks every day.
I been eating pineapple for lunch for years, but that was because I love that shit.
This is just gravy.
I can't say it's right for every pizza but pineapple certainly has it's place on Hawaiian for example!
