Lord, there was once a parody magazine called "National Lampoon" and once they ran a cartoon showing a presidential candidate gnawing on a dead rat.... and a staffer who is holding up the candidate (Weekend with Bernie style) says to another staffer, "Do you think they will notice the rat?"
