I have a friend who is pro vax. When all this started she got all the symptoms of covid so she went to her doctor. He told her to take Vit C & D and zinc. She was mad because he didnt suggest a shot or antibiotic so she did nothing. I told her I heard the vitamins and zinc are the best you could do right now because we really dont know much about it. When moderna became available she was one of the first in line. Americans want instant (shot/penicillin) cures without digging into side effects or ulterior motives. So far she's ok but I check in with her monthly.

People are too deep in the belief that there is a magic pill/shot they can passively take to fix things they should have actively been working on.

I have people like this in my family. Everything is about treating symptoms, never about even considering root causes. They probably think turning off the fire alarm would make fires go away.
