UNLESS, he gets the next three years free to fix the damage caused by the buffoon in the White House now, AND is allowed to be re-elected for a full second term in 2024.

I think he can have a total of 10 years as president. So they might be aiming to put him back Jan '23. If a Vice President has to take over for the President with less than two years remaining in the term, they can have two more terms. If more than two years remain, they would only be allowed one additional term. My interpretation of the 22nd Amendment,
