These idiots will die for their religion. It gives them purpose and community, and they would prefer if we were all dead or in camps - they have said so.

They might care a little bit when they start to die off, but their cognitive dissonance is so pronounced, their devotion to the religion is so deep, they will continue to drink the poisoned Kool-Aide until they are all dead.
