Checking in here from Florida. Like many in the state, I am grateful to have Desantis as gov. He almost wasn't. I feel that here, the pushback started with schools. It took parents who were willing to fight to get their kids back to school and a state government that listened. And this year, kids are returning to mask optional schools statewide. This both infuriates and repudiates the left. The fact that the left sees Desantis as fringe shows how much effort they are putting into pushing their American Communism narrative.
