What does Britain, Canada and Australia have in common... besides being completely locked down, rights suppressed and citizens being abused by government Covid tyranny?

They are each part of the British Commonwealth, which has Elizabeth II as its monarch and head of state.

Why is it that the most severely locked down nations on Earth have the same British monarchy in common?
