He also said he'd sue St. Louis County and St. Louis City for their recently reinstated mask mandates. A few days later, St. Louis county eliminated the mask mandate. Haven't heard anything about St. Louis City.
FTA: Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said Wednesday he will sue to overturn Kansas City’s new mask mandate, his second legal challenge of new mask orders in the state.
Schmitt is already suing to stop new mandates in the St. Louis area. On Wednesday, he asked for a temporary restraining order in that case, which would allow him to get in front of a judge quickly to seek an immediate halt to mask mandates in the area.

I live in Missouri and we never had statewide mask mandates/lockdowns. All of it was isolated to the major metropolitan areas run by the Dems. I live in a very rural, very red area so I was never impacted by the nonsense, but I'm glad the state administration is signaling they're done with this crap.
Same, I live in a rural area in Missouri. We were not impacted either, of course we had some people wearing masks because they listen to the fake news. But now I rarely see a masker.
I'd say about 20% of my county was masked up. The Dollar General and the local chain grocery store required employees to mask, but for customers it was basically only recommended and not enforced. The interesting thing is that as soon as the signs came down at those two locations (about 6 weeks ago), the masks disappeared. Who knew a couple of such benign signs would so influence even 20% of the community? The bank (part of a chain) still requires employees to mask if not vaccinated and I have no idea when they'll stop that nonsense.
