Well this is embarrassing, I have a major typo in my title that I can’t edit...sorry...I have a vey close family member who is a federal employee, won’t say which agency. So far they do not have a vaxx mandate but yesterday was asked to provide vaxx status by 4p. Their job requires lots of travel domestic and overseas. It is part of their job description. We haven’t seen any mandate with specific restrictions like I said, but I’ve heard travel will be limited to those employees who are vaxxed. I suspect this will become a problem for them professionally as they are in a senior position and have no choice but to travel. This person does not want the vaxx for religious and medical reasons. We will need some very good advice about how to navigate this situation to avoid them having a problem at work. Please provide any advice you can. Legal resources will be necessary I think. Specific to the state of Florida and federal government will be most helpful. Sorry for the them/theirs. Just want to keep specifics out of the situation. TIA!
