The ancient Christian theologians taught that one of the consequences for the sin of impurity and lust was a blinding of the intellect. Lust does not make you stupid or lower your IQ, but it prevents you from UNDERSTANDING basic truths like sex is for marriage, gays cannot marry, sodomy is a sin, transgenderism is an abomination, socialism is stupid etc.

Another way of putting it is that sexual liberation is a form of political and social control. Most people are drowning in lust, porn, masturbation, adultery, fornication, hooking up. Therefore, most people are intellectually blind to the control grid, the propaganda, and the lies. They are far far far away from Jesus Christ who is the light of truth and because they are divorced from Truth Himself, they cannot see or understand the lies and they fall into destruction and death.
