I had a short visit with a liberal friend of mine recently. He told me that, for his daughter's graduation, his Dad offered to pay for a Disney cruise for the whole family (something like $15,000). My friend didn't want to refuse his Dad's generous offer, and since Disney cruises require vaccination he went right ahead and got the vaccine for himself, his wife, and both kids. He claimed there was no way around it since "they passed a law that says it's not illegal to mandate vaccines." He couldn't cite the law, nor could he understand why I thought it was a bad idea. He was just so excited about the possibility of going on a Disney cruise. I don't know what to do about friends and family like this anymore. God help us.

Tell me about it. I just got off a zoom for my company, which is National. There is about two or three of my positions per state and some of those on the call were positively GIDDY about getting locked down again and I think all were jabbed. Don't tell me people are waking up. If anything, they are all clinging to fear. I honestly don't get how they can just line up for it. Was this what really happened in WWII? The NAZIs didn't force anyone on the trains, the people jumped on willingly?
We not only have two presidents right now (and I use that loosely in regards to the Potato), but we have two totally fucking different realities happening simultaneously!
