I have had the thought that perhaps its development was to head off the introduction of a more deadly virus specifically targeting people with a non-Oriental heritage, Kill all non-Chinese.

Explain how injecting yourself with toxic spike proteins will "head off" anything. There are no positive effects, and thinking that toxins will somehow be good for you in any way is moronic.
