I see a lot of people just claiming covid literally is made up. That it doesn’t even exist. I understand that cases and deaths are greatly overstated. But one can’t deny that hospitals are quite overwhelmed right now.. how do you explain that? I know multiple hospital workers who all say the same thing, they are getting ransacked with covid patients

Last year the news was claiming our hospitals were overrun, I asked my mom who works in the biggest hospital in the area and "huh? We only have about 20 patients with it." I also pulled via FOIA for the entire state of Illinois and no hospital got past 50% ICU capacity.
