Well patriots wish us luck. Our county school board announced at 3 today on the day before school starts that our children had to be masked to attend and no online option. We're now gathering information to confront the school board. You should have seen the facebook post lol parents are pissed. Prayers would be much appreciated. Never done anything like this before but honestly.... fuck these people. God bless, patriots.

Understand this—they will divide and conquer. Don’t let them.
1). Get everyone together ahead of time and talk about your goals, what your talking points are going to be, and find their weak points: (it’s always money). And then go after them—you will fight them on future funding, you will run against the board. The board is supposed to represent the COMMUNITY AND THE CHILDREN, not the teachers (so call them out on that and tell them that you will run against them and use this issue if they continue to go against our kids.).
Be SUPER RESPECTFUL or they will feel justified in siding with the admin.
Appeal to them in an emotional level—don’t be all angry (even if you are), but appeal to their “caring” side. Have a couple of moms cry and tell a sad story about how their kids got skin lesions, or fainted, etc,
Then have a father talk about kids who need to be in school and living a normal life, without fear, coercion, intimidation, etc. Remind them of their mission—Education, not Dystopia like some teen novel.
Have another person who discusses legal issues and hands out the studies on face masks on kids ( make sure each board member and administrator has a copy and then have the person talk about it). Remind them that they are to make “Data driven decisions”.
Have another person discuss this issue from a civil rights perspective. How it discriminates, etc.
7). Write letters to the local paper about what you are doing. Then if your town has a FB page, be sure to keep them all informed about it. Have a downtown demonstration with posters to bring it to the attention of the community. Make it a civil rights issue. Make a big stink. Run a few new people on the school board and make this the driving issue. “Let our kids breathe” is a possible logo.
