Does your wife insist on working outside the home as well as in? Maybe she's working too much to have time to think properly.
Editing to add, it's like a child being taught by the state instead of the parents and then wondering why they believe differently than you. Is most of your wife's life dedicated to the equivalent of washing other men's private parts, why? (I'm not interested in an answer for me. Just making suggestion as to whether it's worth it.)
