The cannibals catch the virus and accelerates the kuru or mad cow disease J-C. From what I understand which is basic is that prions could take years and sometimes decades to manifest as J-C. If covid accelerates it to months or weeks that would be pretty crazy.
I've heard theory that vaxx can cause prion disease. I hope both of those theories are not true at the same time.
