I would think that just before the results are released.... all those involved will be subpoenaed as state or federal witnesses..... to ensure they are further gagged until a court appearance or the very least a formal statement to the relevant legal authorities.... and even then with caveats ....

On the face of it, ie; as I type I think It would suit the Dems more to do so than the white hats but the white hats might be thinking of admissible evidence from witnesses....etc
