Thanks for your post! I'm always glad to find another MO resident. I've seen a couple others on here. I'm now in SW Missouri north of Springfield in a very red, very rural county (past 20 years), but I grew up 50 miles west of St. Louis and worked/lived in the St. Louis area for 17 years. So glad I got out of there and I feel for you.

I grew up in St. Louis and haven’t been able to get away yet. I would definitely love to live in a deep red rural area. I am not sure I can take much more of this area. Glad you were able to get out!
