There's a few documentaries out there about trans people realizing what lunacy it is and detransitioning back to their proper gender. It all pretty much amounts to peer pressure and the community being predatory as hell.
They find someone who's in an awkward stage in their life where they're uncomfortable in their own skin or questioning their existence, and immediately steer them down the transgender path. It starts small with cross-dressing, trying out new names, but when the target says "I dunno, it doesn't really fit right" they get told "You'll feel better after you start getting the surgeries"
It's always just "one more step" for a goal that's never been within reach.
There was some guy who'd gone fully in on his female transition, realized after he'd lost his dick that he really wasn't feeling it, tried to make the best of it and live as a woman for almost 20 years before he gave up and went back to being a man. Fortunately, he found a girlfriend that didn't mind they couldn't have sex and he's living as good of a life as can be expected.
This is how it almost always goes. And surgery or not the suicide rate in this population remains at 41%. It doesn't matter how much the world affirms you in something, if you aren't right with the Lord, you'll continue to feel like an abomination. We all need to fill the hole in our souls with the Lord shaped to fit it. Otherwise life becomes merely an act of endless repetitive futility trying to drown out the voice in our head saying something is not all the way right here.
