My hospital announced vaccine mandate for all employees on Wednesday -including remote from home employees. I am getting a lot of heat from the providers I work with for resigning. I was told my decision is stupid to just get vaxxed. I said no and all opinions aside I am a free standing US Citizen and I have the right of choice. Doc tells me... “yea, not necessarily...” I told him, yes I do and I quit. The other one told me that I will be the last one resisting that the whole nation is getting vaxxed. I laughed... told him... “umm.. no... we are the majority, stop watching CNN Health.” He walked out. Counting the days until I leave... ugh...

I'm in EXACTLY the same situation. Sept 7th get vaxed or you're terminated. I put in a religious exemption (They gave people literally 3 days to do it before their "deadline of accepting them), so if they turn that down I'm ALSO filing a suit for religious discrimination. I used the GAB Catholic exemption template form so it's air tight and meets all the required criteria s for exemption. They want people not getting the vax to resign so they're in "good standing"..FUCK OFF to that! Fire me so I can have that in writing why you terminated me.
Man! 😞Let me know how it goes!! They are absolute asshats for doing that! Not even giving you ample notice and time to process.. Ugh... Wishing you luck and hopefully the “team” that reviews the exemptions approves your request and everyone else as well. Bastards!
Thanks fren. We knew this was coming and I don't respond well to edicts from a Governor who thinks he's a king. We all need to make a stand and NOT back down. Religious exemptions seems to be working at other hospitals because people are not backing down and would rather be fired than take that poison. This is how we win. I say to everyone in this position, PLEASE STAY STRONG!!
