Not to overshare, but since November I have been gearing my life towards building small communities on empty land. A few cheap empty acres all over the country to farm seasonally, build wells and park trucks, RVs, put up military tents and run self-sufficient migratory communities, that can monetize themselves within nearby communities. I wish I had started this 10 years ago, or better yet, inherited the task. Thing is, as this progresses I believe we will have a lot more homeless and displaced Americans and I know firsthand, American's didn't do a single fucking effective thing to look out for their neighbors.
Parallel free communities, and a culture of resisting totalitarian society -- I can do my part towards that. Beyond that I am not sure what more I can do personally. I just hope there are other Americans thinking and moving in the same direction as me.
The grandiose displays of rebellion are usually them weaving narrative, it doesn't come from us. People just want to be left alone. Life liberty and pursuit of happiness.
And yeah society isn't set up in a way that values benefits or elevates humanity in any way. Humans are the most valuable resource on the planet. We can move mountains, we can dig rivers, we can create forests. All of our energy sources are created and setup by humans. What then, is the real dominant energy source on this world?
Too busy scoring drugs and stealing catalytic converters.
I wish that wasn't accurate. Low classes it was that, middle classes it was buying boats and nailing eachothers' wives. Upper class it was bigger boats and nailing the middle classes' daughters.
Yup. Plus bread and circuses like NFL/UFC.
