Yesterday they started him on a new medication. the common side effects for this medication are upset stomach, headache, sore dry throat, Is and Muscle aches and pains.
After taking the medication for one day he woke up this morning with all of these common side effects. The 1st thing the hospital did Was give him a rapid pcr test Without calling me. After they gave him the test they called me to let me know they implemented this test. I asked them why they called me after they did it they said it's protocol.
Of course the test came back negative Even after I ripped into them and said because of all the false negatives and false positives the test is not accurate. Please call me back and let me know the results of my son's flu test.
An hour after the phone calls they called me back and said he is negative, but this is how neurotic they are they actually gave him a second PCR test and send it to a 2nd clinic as if they're trying to find something in his system that he doesn't have.
the hospitals are getting desperate. They're probably also doing this to overbill for keeping people in quarantine
This was being done at the hospital I worked at. A rapid test first and then another, the kind would be based off what the doctor or the facility wanted. We knew the tests were inaccurate, we would do a covid test for anything. If it had been more than X amount of days they’d get another one. The nonsense kept going and information changed weekly. On a side note... we had patients we KNEW had COVID, but tests would continually be negative. Then patients that were fine came back positive. It made zero sense. Also!!! A coworker and her whole family got covid and her mother who also worked there who took hydroxychloroquine regularly for an autoimmune disorder tested negative 3 times but was symptomatic with all her positive testing family.... explain that....
